About Us

The Kidneyhood.org project was started by a kidney patient to address the problems he faced trying to slow or stop kidney disease from progressing to dialysis or transplant.

After five years, working with thousands of patients/ clinicians and clinical studies we have a much better idea of what is needed to improve outcomes for thousands of kidney patients.

Our promise is to never offer any program, diet or product that cannot be clinically proven to improve our outcomes and overall health.

We have two very clear goals in 2024:

  1. Be the most educational help you have ever received a kidney patient. Patients and clinicians need factual, verifiable information they can trust to make great healthcare decisions.
  2. A clinically proven program to slow kidney disease progression through education, diet, lifestyle and nutrition.  Our goal will always be the pursuit of clinically proven programs to slow progression of kidney disease. You will see why this is desperately needed as you read this book.

Our entire book series will be updated and two new clinical studies will start in 2024 to help us improve our program and improve patient success rates.

About Lee

Lee Hull was diagnosed in 1998 with incurable kidney disease.  Lee has tried all kinds of drugs and steroids with no success.  The only improvement came from the information and diet in the Stopping Kidney Disease book series.   Lee’s kidney function has been stable for the past 12 years.
